Terms and Conditions

Firearm Shipments

All items will ship via UPS or USPS. Please understand that any delivery information provided by our representatives is only an estimate, not a guarantee. All inquiries regarding delayed delivery times must be addressed with the carrier.

Orders will only be accepted from US Residents of the lower 48 states, Alaska and Hawaii. Our FFL Class does not allow for the export of firearms, therefore we cannot ship outside of the US. Due to several other constraints we will not ship any product outside of the above mentioned US States.

If you order a handgun, stockless shotgun, complete AR or AK receiver, or stripped lower receiver, YOU MUST be:

  • A legal resident of the state in which you are ordering.
  • 21 years of age or older to complete the transfer through your FFL.

    Exceptions: Military personnel stationed in a state other than their legal residence may purchase firearms across state lines. Contact your local FFL receiving the transfer as you may have to provide proof of deployment, residence, etc.

    SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

    We WILL NOT replace high capacity magazines with state compliant magazines. We DO NOT offer refunds in place of the magazines.

    Firearms cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.

    Elk County Ammo and Arms  abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of high capacity magazines. We WILL NOT replace high capacity magazines with state compliant magazines. We DO NOT offer refunds in place of the magazines.

    It is the customer’s responsibility for understanding state laws regarding magazine capacities. 

     

    Layaways

    Additional payments are required every 30 days. Layaways are subject to cancellation if a payment has not been made every 30 days.

    90 Day Layaway: FREE, a minimum deposit of 20% is required. Additional monthly payments are required, minimum payments of 30% are encouraged.

    120 Day Layaway: $39.99, a minimum deposit of 20% is required. Additional monthly payments are required, minimum payments of 20% are encouraged.

    180 Day Layaway: $49.99, a minimum deposit of 20% is required. Additional monthly payments are required, minimum payments of 15% are encouraged.

     

    The table below is an example of what approximate payments should be for a $1,000 firearm on layaway.

     You'll need to contact us either by phone or email to let us know which layaway plan you'd like to participate in after you've placed your order through Gunbroker.


     The following layaway terms apply to all layaway options that are described above. A layaway is binding contract between Elk County Ammo & Arms and the Customer. By making your initial deposit you agree to the following terms.


    • Additional payments are required every 30 days to maintain your layaway. 

    • Layaways are subject to cancellation if a payment has not been made every 30 days.

    •It is the customer’s responsibility to make monthly payments by phone during our business hours. Reminders will not be given if your payment is due.

    • All prices within a layaway are fixed, the price of the item will not be raised or lowered. 

    • Only one item may be placed on layaway at a time per customer. 

    • Once a layaway has been started it cannot be changed, exchanged, or added to. This includes the length of time the layaway was set as. 

    • It is the responsibility of the customer to know their state laws prior to ordering an item and to confirm with their receiving dealer that the firearm is legal to own in their state.

    • All layaway deposits are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

    WARRANTIES:

     

    All new firearms sold by our store are covered under their respective manufacturer's warranty. If you have received an item that you feel is defective it is recommended that you contact the manufacturer directly. Working directly with the manufacturer is the most effective way to resolve any issue you may be experiencing.

     

    RETURNS / DAMAGED ITEMS / STATE COMPLIANCY / 4473 BACKGROUND CHECK DENIALS:

    •All firearm sales are final. We do not accept returns for firearms whether they are new or used.

    •It is the responsibility of the customer to know their state laws prior to ordering an item and to confirm with their receiving dealer that the firearm is legal to own in their state. Returns for failed background checks and non-compliant firearms will be subject to a $100 restocking fee and you will not be refunded for the shipping to and from along with any credit card fees that may have been charged to your order. 

    •Be sure to thoroughly inspect the received firearm(s) prior to completing a 4473 (NICS Check) at the receiving dealer.

    •If your firearm was damaged during shipping DO NOT complete the 4473 at your receiving dealer.

    •Any firearms with that have been damaged during shipping may be reimbursed in full or exchanged for the same model if we have additional inventory of the item.

    •Items damaged during shipment require a full inspection of the damaged package by a representative of the shipping carrier. Please keep all inner and outer packaging for damaged shipments until our customer care team contacts you. If the firearm you received was damaged while in transit to your dealer contact us immediately.

    •Manufacturer’s defects are repaired / replaced through the respective manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty repairs must be addressed directly with the manufacturer. We can provide you with the respective manufacturer’s contacting information upon request.

     

    CANCELING AN ORDER:

    If you have placed an order with us and no longer wish to complete the transaction, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee of $25.00 OR 3% of the sale price of the item, whichever amount is greater.
